It is probably no surprise that I absolutely LOVE makeup and beauty products. And while I definitely still enjoy some high-end beauty finds, I have learned over the years that expensive does not always mean better.
Honestly, some of my most-used products right now are affordable beauty products I grabbed on Amazon or at the drugstore — and several of them outperform products that cost three or four times as much.
And as someone who loves makeup (especially makeup for mature skin), I have become really picky about what actually works. I want products that blend well, wear beautifully throughout the day, and make my skin look fresh and glowy instead of dry or heavy.

Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, I truly do not believe you have to spend a fortune to have makeup that looks beautiful and performs well. Some of my most-used beauty products are affordable finds that I continue repurchasing over and over again because they genuinely work.
And honestly, as I have gotten older, I have become even more focused on products that make skin look fresh, glowy, and natural instead of heavy or overly complicated. The right affordable makeup products can absolutely do that.
