If you’re a busy woman in your late 30s or 40s, you probably don’t have the luxury of a 10-step skincare routine. Between work, family, and everything else on your plate, skincare needs to be simple, effective, and actually worth your time.
That’s exactly why I decided to try Riman Skincare. As someone who’s constantly juggling life but still wants to look fresh and youthful, I was curious if this Korean skincare line could live up to the hype. After using it consistently, here’s my honest Riman Skincare review — what it is, how it works, and whether it’s actually worth it.
What Is Riman Skincare?

Riman is a Korean skincare brand built on two things: science-backed anti-aging ingredients and streamlined routines. Unlike traditional K-beauty routines that can have up to 10 steps, Riman focuses on efficiency.
The formulas are designed to:
In short, it’s skincare that fits into a busy lifestyle without sacrificing results. (If you’re curious about what makes Korean skincare so effective, here’s a great overview from Healthline).
My Honest Riman Skincare Review
I’ll be real with you: I was skeptical. There are so many skincare brands out there promising miracles, and most don’t deliver. But after using the Riman Skincare kit for a few months, here’s what I noticed:
Honestly, I’m impressed. To see results without even using it perfectly every single day says a lot about the quality of these products.
So, does Riman Skincare work? For me, yes. It’s helped me achieve glowing, youthful-looking skin without feeling like I need to overhaul my entire routine. (This lines up with what experts say too—healthy skin often starts with hydration and collagen support, which is backed by research from Healthline on collagen and skin health).

Key Benefits of Riman Skincare
Here’s what makes Riman stand out:
For women 35+ who want real results and don’t mind a few extra steps, this routine delivers noticeable glow and anti-aging benefits. And I don’t know about you, but, I don’t want to waste time or money, however, I am happy to spend time and money on things that ACTUALLY WORK!!
How to Use Riman Skincare
One thing I love about Riman is that you can keep it super simple on busy mornings or go all-in when you have a little more time. Here’s how I personally use the products:
☀️ Morning (under 5 minutes)
Booster (Boo Se Boo)
Serum
Booster again
Balm (on lips and under eyes)
🌙 Night (the relaxing version, ~10 minutes)
Oil cleanser
Snow cleanser OR exfoliator (2-3x per week only)
Oil Spray
Calming gel
Booster –> Serum –> Booster
Moisturizer
Balm (under/around eyes and lips)
Plus, I finish with a lash serum (not Riman, but hello long lashes!! Use code KALII20 for 20% off!)
Honestly, my night routine has become something I look forward to — it feels more like self-care than just skincare. The morning version is fast and fuss-free, but the full evening routine is where I really see the glow kick in.

Riman Skincare vs. Other Brands
Here’s how Riman stacks up in real life:
Bottom line: If your skin is stressed, dehydrated, or reactive, the hydration + barrier-first philosophy may be a better fit than aggressive peels or strong actives. Gentle doesn’t mean weak—my glow says otherwise.

Who is Riman Skincare Best For?
Riman is ideal if you’re:
– A woman 35–50 balancing work, family, and self-care
– Frustrated with ineffective skincare routines
– Wanting anti-aging results and a healthy glow
– Looking for hydrating, gentle formulas that don’t rely on harsh chemicals

It may not be the best fit if you:
– Prefer a super minimal, 1–2 step skincare routine
– Aren’t ready to invest in a premium skincare system
Final Thoughts: Is Riman Skincare Worth It?
After trying Riman myself, my answer is yes — especially if you want a quick, effective routine that actually makes a difference in your skin.
It’s not the cheapest skincare line, but for the results and time saved, I’d say it’s worth it. (And if you’re also navigating hormonal changes, you may love my post on perimenopause and your skin to see how these shifts affect your glow.)

It didn’t work for me. Made my skin feel hot and I had acne the next day.
I hate that that happened! There is nothing out there that will work for everyone so there will always be some that have a negative experience even when others have a positive one. The acne could have been purging (our skin can do that) but if you used the products for several days and the acne didn’t stop then that is different.
I used the original system for 6 mths then it was suggested to use the higher end for night time and didn’t see a difference and it is very expensive and doesn’t seem to last but a month for its 345 monthly that’s a lot
I love the mist I use all the time and I love the moisturizer the serum in the boo ce boo doesn’t even last a month 🙁
I hate that you had that experience! I don’t use the higher end one, I have continued to stick with the regular one and love it and have seen great results. And I know everyone is different but mine also lasts longer than a month. If you ever decide to try again, I am happy to troubleshoot with you to see if I can help you get more use out of it!
You mentioned that Riman is good for ladies between ages 35 to 50. So, do you not recommend it for ladies much older than that? I’m 70 and have a lot of uneven skintone from sun damage along with wrinkles, especially around my eyes and mouth. Would the products not really work for my skin? Thanks for your help.
Hey Paula! I do think they would work for your skin! My audience is primarily that age range so that is why I specifically mention them but I have seen this work well for many different ages! Feel free to email me to chat more – kalii@kaliisue.com
